Job Summary

The General Maintenance’ s primary role is to ensure the reliable operation of the franchise's swimming pools by keeping them clean, safe, and visually appealing. The primary emphasis is on water quality/filtration systems, especially the chemicals. The Pool Operator does weekly visits to all pools to prepare, maintain and complete all services as needed

General Accountabilities

• Keeps the pool clean and up to safety standards
• Inspects the pool on a weekly basis
• Follows proper procedures for cleaning and sanitizing the pool Maintains appropriate supply levels of chemicals and cleaning agents Inspects the interior of the pool as well as valves and drains to ensure proper functionality
• Keeps safety equipment inspections up to date
• Inspects pools and decks for defects regularly
• The Company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Job Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1-2 years' experience as a pool maintenance technician or in a similar technical position

Skills

• Ability to reliably travel between pools and transport equipment Ability to pick up pool chemicals from the office or the store and deliver to the pools.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
