Job Title:
General Operative

Job Purpose:
To work within
the Production Floor to ensure that all product is produced in accordance with
the production plan whilst ensuring that quality standards are met, and
operating procedures are followed.

Duties
Working as part
of a team in a busy production environment duties will include:
Achieve daily/weekly production targets
Comply with current systems of working and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Accurate completion of all paperwork, for productivity, downtime etc in accordance with operating procedures.
Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in your area
Cross train in other production roles as required
Adherence to Health & Safety procedures
Ad hoc duties as instructed by Production Managers/ Team Leaders
Pack Pharmaceutical, Clinical and Medical Device packaging ready for shipment with due care and diligence.

Experience and Qualifications
Experience in a
manufacturing environment is essential.
Working knowledge
of standard operating procedures and quality practices is a requirement.
Experience in a
similar role in the Food production industry or Healthcare production industry advantageous.

Personal Characteristics
Ability to work
different shift patterns plus overtime if required
Have a clear
understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices
Good standard of
housekeeping and attendance
Attention to
detail
Flexibility
Good level of
English required
