Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Ole Ole Restaurant Host” for Gold Dust West Carson City. This property features 148 modern hotel rooms and suites, a 32-lane Bowling Center with full Snack Bar, an RV Park, full-service Sports Book and 2 of the area’s best food outlets—The Grille and Ole Ole Mexican Restaurant.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
- Cleaning and sanitizing Guest touch points in the restaurant
- Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist I-pad system and at a table pre-set for the number in the party and according to guest preference when applicable
- Set up host/hostess stand, review guest reservation, and make recommendations as to the set-up of the room
- Maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant while recognizing the maximum workload capacity of each server
- Answer telephones and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service
- Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name and utilize the guest’s name consistently
- Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials
- Relay customer concerns and compliments to leadership
