Job Summary:

Our business services golf courses in Chicagoland, specifically their bunkers/sand traps. As a Bunker Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for raking sand traps for assigned golf courses. After some initial training, you will be able to set your own pace and take pride in helping to get courses ready for optimal play. Location:

Openings available in the southwest suburbs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Rake all sand traps for assigned holes on a golf course.
• Remove any debris from traps.
• Ensure rake placement according to course requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Availability to work early mornings.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to work on weekends.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to physically bend, push, and pull.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. at a time.

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Ability to be professional and courteous at all times when interacting with team members, golf course personnel, or players.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Must be able to use a golf course bunker hand rake.
• Attention to detail and care for quality.

Schedule:

3-4 days per week. Start time ranges from 5:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Typical daily assignments range from 3-4 hours long.

Pay Range:

Flat daily rate of pay, which averages $20 - $23 per hour depending on individual pace.
