Golf Course / Grounds Staff

General Job Description:

A golf course/grounds staff member will be involved with, but not limited to, a variety of work activities and tasks related to care and daily maintenance of the golf course and adjacent grounds, building, and parking areas. As a new staff member, assignments will be based on experience, training, and previous knowledge of golf course maintenance tasks and work. You will be trained and coached to perform Daily tasks.

Daily Tasks:

Tasks/jobs may include course cleanup, raking, picking up sticks/limbs/leaves/debris.

Preparation of practice areas and golf course tees: fill divots, rash collection.

Small engine tool operation: push mowing, string trimming.

Bunker maintenance: raking bunker edges and bunker surface, edging bunkers.

Equipment operation: walk behind mowing greens, tees, and collars. Triplex mowing of tees and approaches. Fairway mowing. Rough and primary rough mowing.

General Maintenance tasks: sprinkler head trimming, cart path edging, tree trimming, drainage installation and repairs, irrigation installation and repairs.

Landscaping: landscape installation and maintenance, mulch work, plant and flower installation and care.

These are seasonal job positions. Pay range depends on qualifications and experience.
