Both golf courses and the practice area were created by the Nicklaus Design Group & Architect Bill O'Leary, opening for play in January 2000. Job Description
Bear Creek Golf Complex is looking to fulfill a Golf Course Maintenance Worker Position
Experienced applicants with golf course maintenance knowledge is a plus and can earn a higher starting wage!
Mowers, trimmers, tractors, sand pro, sprinkler system repair, etc.
- - Working early hours and some weekends*
- - Willing to learn and good attitude*
- - Able to work overtime hours during seasonal projects*
Job Responsibilities
- The individual should be able to perform semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks in a safe manner.
- Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment.
- Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
- Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing. Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
- Operate equipment: mowing greens, collars, fairways, tees & roughs.
- Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
- Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
- Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
- Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
