Your Role and Responsibilities
Role: Government Relations Manager

We are looking for an external communications professional to drive influencer engagement strategies across government influencers, media and associated IT analysts. You will communicate IBM's capabilities to help governments advance their digital transformation, improve citizen services, and prepare for future shocks. You will create client storytelling approaches that enable playback from clients, partners, industry associations and social media influencers.

Responsibilities include social programming and strategic content development. Lead development and execution of integrated campaigns targeting government industry. Develop external reputation and influence of IBM subject matter experts in government

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years communications and program execution development
• Deep understanding of vertical industry business needs and the application of technology
• Excellent written and oral communication skills- the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels.
• Communications experience including media relations, strategic communications and internal communications
• Proven track record of partnership, facilitation and consultation with selling team
• Strong social and influencer management experience, digitally savvy

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
