Certification/License:
Certification in Elementary Education (020) from the Maine Department of Education
Criminal History Record Check (CHRC), which includes Fingerprints on file with the Maine Department of Education

Education:
Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
Masters Degree in related area preferred.

Experience:
Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels is preferred but not required.

• Have highly effective communication skills.
• Have a strong understanding of personalized learning.

• Regularly assesses each student’s academic and social growth, maintains appropriate and timely records.
• Maintains technological proficiency for purposes of instruction, reporting and communicating.
• Participates in parent conferences, open houses, and other required school events based on the responsibilities of the
  assigned position.
• Other job-related duties as assigned by the Building Leader.
