Job description
The Service & Interaction Designer will be required to work as part of the Mater Transformation team in supporting and progressing the Mater hospital’s transformation agenda. In particular, (s)he will project manage a range of design-led innovation projects as part of the ‘MxD Collective’ pilot. Specifically, this will involve:
- Working collaboratively with staff, patients, carers/families and other stakeholders to co-design solutions
- Leading on the research, concept generation, prototyping, testing and iteration of solutions
- Working collaboratively with project managers and the wider project team to ensure a high standard is delivered in time and on budget
- Participating in planning and conducting evaluation of the improvement initiative and dissemination of findings through publication and presentations
- Carrying out administrative work associated with your programme of research.
- Have the ability to liaise successfully with individuals, groups and organisations and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have the ability to work on their own initiative as well and to take responsibility for their own workload, work capacity and work rate.
