Job Summary
It is desirable that candidates demonstrate through their application form and at the interview that he/she:
- Demonstrate good engineering design skills and knowledge including analytical, conceptual and problem-solving.
- Possess good I.T. and presentation skills including use of Autocad.
- Demonstrate understanding of good civil / structural construction practice.
- Be capable of working on own initiative or within a team structure and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have an understanding of customer service and the functions of the Council.
Each candidate must, on the latest date for receipt of completed application forms:
- Hold an honours degree (level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications) in Engineering
Applicants should at the latest date for receipt of applications hold a full unendorsed driving licence for Class B vehicles and be a competent driver
