DESCRIPTION:
The Engineering Graduate will be part of the Engineering / Operations Team whose main focus is to:
Ensure full support of all day to day operational issues, Completion of process and equipment investigations Execution of small projects to improve operation productivity and engineering efficiencies.
REPORTING LINE:
Reporting to Engineering management (Role TBC)
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead investigations across all utility and process systems.
- Lead Kaizen events and lean projects
- Work within matrix engineering structure to achieve team goals.
- Engage in continuous improvement culture by being part of the site Simplification teams.
- Ownership of small and medium size projects and report out on same.
- Support SMEs onsite to ensure optimum equipment OEE and timely investigation close out.
- Build reports for the Engineering team.
- Complete surveys as required.
- Assist in the design and development of process and utility systems.
- Provide support in areas of commissioning and operation of mechanical, process, electrical, automation equipment and systems and performance test protocols.
- Prepare technical operating procedures, project request for proposals, operational manuals and reports.
- Check and cross reference project records and assist in producing as-build records for engineering.
- Participate in feasibility studies for proposed equipment, systems or processes.
- Coordinate and meet with project teams to discuss requirements and constraint issues.
- Coordinate and conduct task reviews to ensure alignment with technical requirements and specifications.
- Prepare preliminary project reports and update daily activities for management review.
- Maintain current records for each project.
- Report / present out on project updates as required.
- Complete rounds & readings on engineering equipment & systems as required.
- Coordinate with the all departments to ensure all works are planned following the safe systems of work
- Perform other duties as assigned.

PRINCIPAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor of Engineering of the following degrees: Mechanical, Chemical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of concepts, principles and practices of engineering.
- Basic Project management and organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, interpret technical documents.
