Colliers is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Graduate Surveyor to join their Graduate Programme within the Hotels and Trading asset teams based in our Dublin office.
This is an exciting role offering the opportunity to work within the dynamic and diverse hospitality sector. The successful candidate will be able to work with colleagues on existing projects, with great scope for advancement within the firm. The team specialises in hotel, apart-hotel, pubs, leisure and hostel valuations and acquisition and disposal, working with the sector’s leading lenders, developers and investors. We undertake most of our work throughout Ireland with close collaboration with our colleagues around the world.
The successful candidate will gain experience in a broad range of asset types in a variety of locations, both single asset work and portfolio transactions.
The ideal candidate should be used to working in a fast paced environment, have excellent attention to detail, be able to take initiative and build a rapport with the team. A self-motivated individual, they will also be able to demonstrate reliability, flexibility, ability to travel and initiative. No specific experience in the hotel sector is required, but the candidate should have an interest in this growing sector.
Key Duties:
- Providing valuation advice to clients for a range of purposes including, loan security, financial accounting, listing and litigation.
- Inspecting a range of hotels and other commercial assets.
- Analysing hotel trading accounts and developing a knowledge of hotel business dynamics.
- Report writing – producing high quality, well-reasoned and professionally presented reports.
- Carrying out property, market and legal due diligence enquiries.
- Capable of dealing with instructions and clients alone after an introductory period.
- Utilise relevant internal databases to track and share client information where appropriate.
- Assist with the preparation of pitches and marketing literature to a high standard.
In addition to the tasks described above, the job holder may be required to carry out other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
- Must hold an SCSI accredited property degree such as Property Economics (Bsc Surv.) and ability to obtain a PSRA license.
- Full Driver’s Licence.

- Highly proficient in valuation software, specifically with Excel, Argus Investor and Argus Developer.
- Able to demonstrate the importance of providing a first class service to all clients.
- Fluent in English
