Work you'll do

• Review supporting documentation for grants to ensure that each sub recipient receives appropriate reimbursement for approved, federally funded programs
• Review grants applications assess the completeness and adequacy of the submission based on the requirements
• Use an online tool/checklist and user guide and follow prescribed steps to review applications and move them forward in the application review process
• Attend all required trainings; all trainings and technology enablement will be provided by the project team
• Be responsible for quality assurance practices and fostering completion and accuracy of tasks

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, Emergency Management, Crisis Management, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Mathematics, Geography, Geospatial Intelligence or related field
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for this role
• Minimum 5 years of grants management experience at the state and/or federal level
• Possess knowledge on the technical aspects of the federal grant program and will be expected to exercise independent judgement within the limits of applicable Federal and State statutes, regulations, policies and procedures

• Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment; provide rigorous, creative insight in complex situations; and exhibit advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage technology to solve problems
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
• Proficiency in word processing, s preadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tool
