Position Description:

Design, develop, and provide some of the talking points for the briefs used by flag officers at All Hands Call and for guest speaker engagements at Rotary Clubs, educational institutes, and corporate venues. Provide timely submission of all briefs and projects with required research, reports and collection of media clips. Production of flag officer educational trip books that includes student demographics, student population, graduation rate, student military enlistment, school principal biography, information of nearby colleges and market data.

Current SharePoint administrator, Social Media manager, and Microsoft Team lead. Provide technical, analytical, and problem solving skills on a variety of innovation projects, pilots, and ad hoc assignments associated with numerous aspects of the Navy Recruiting Command Innovation initiatives. Administer and analyze social media communication and information internally and externally.


  • Capture analytical data from user interaction and providing statistical output to lead
  • Design and manage SharePoint sites for several
  • Migrate documents from comptroller (N8) share drive to appropriate SharePoint
  • Provide asset management on SharePoint sites and Microsoft Teams for several departments
  • Create, publish, and provide asset management on all online forms for Innovation Support Team, Transformation, and Region 3.
  • Provide website and social media administration to include social media communication, social media site administration, and information cataloguing with the ability to apply knowledge of social media platforms to advance MPTE initiatives
  • Script writer
  • Design landing page for Navy Recruiting Command’s exports
  • Keep up to date on current events and advise Admirals office on trends in economy, labor, etc
  • Sit in on Recruiting District strategy briefs, record deliverables, staff deliverables and draft responses
  • Perform accessing and manipulating social media sites for the purpose of capturing, responding and synthesizing pertinent content.
  • Respond appropriately to social media inquiries in a professional and grammatically correct correspondence within the platform from which it was received.
  • Provide formal format and layout functions for Manpower, Personnel, Training & Education (MPTE) Domain-wide publications
  • Present data using the appropriate and applicable data visualization vehicle, to include charts, graphs, tables, and PDF’s.
  • Create, update, and maintain analytical reports on a routine
  • Submit work that is sound, and valid to the Flag and senior civilian level
  • Coordinate bi-annual Commander’s Conference
  • Participate in coordinating Change of Command
  • Manage Salesforce data and dashboards
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • An Associate's Degree
  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Two (2) to Four (4) years of experience related to Job Description Responsibilities
  • High proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office 2010 suite of software applications to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft SharePoint Workspace
  • Experience with Mass Communications, Social Media, Marketing and Photo Journalism
  • 10% travel required
