We are a video and marketing agency in downtown Youngstown (with offices in Columbiana and Macedonia) looking for a graphic designer and marketing professional to create engaging graphics and strategies for a variety of media and clients.

What we are looking for in this position?

Visualize and create graphics including social media graphics, photo edits and manipulations, design concept mock-ups, illustrations, print layouts, web graphics, multi-page presentations, and more.

Help shape the visual aspects of social media accounts, websites, packaging, and advertisements to elevate client branding.

Your graphics should be brand-consistent and capture the attention of viewers, communicate the right message, and get them excited about our client's service or product. You need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d love to meet you. The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience while pleasing the client.

Responsibilities

• Design and schedule content for multiple social media platforms and profiles according to client directions and brand standards
• Create and schedule reels and stories for Facebook and Instagram
• Coordinate with Creative Director to ensure that social media content is approved on time and various client schedules are maintained
• Work with copywriter to bring written content to life for a variety of media
• Collaborate with marketing team to brainstorm various projects
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements and requests of clients
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Amend designs after feedback to match client needs
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing, on-brand, and free of error
• Availability during the workweek via Teams/phone/email, as though in a physical office, when working remote.
• Ability to manage your time efficiently and meet often urgent deadlines
• Make simple copy/photo updates to various website platforms

Skills

• Proven graphic design experience— provide a link to a strong portfolio of past graphic design and related work
• Established working experience with design software: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and XD; After Effects a plus
• Experience updating WordPress, Shopify, and other website platforms a plus
• Ability to multi-task as we represent a variety of clients along with marketing ourselves within and outside the community
• A thirst for knowledge to stay on top of trends in design and social media platforms
• Independent thinker who is proactive at solving problems--incorporates feedback, gives and receives direction well
• Ability to educate yourself about potential or new clients and brainstorm ways to market their product or services
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus

Work location is preferably at one of our several offices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
