Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose
The Group Product Manager will be responsible for defining and delivering the strategy for a group of products that support a consistent, intuitive and high-quality experience for our patients and care teams across all interaction points including multiple digital channels. They will drive overall product strategy to align with overarching BJC initiatives ensuring the greatest value is delivered. Part of this role will include aggregating, evaluating, and pursuing specific capability/product requests that is received from the organization related to the group of products.
They hold end-to-end responsibility for a given group of products, manage a robust request and opportunity with the Product Leadership team with a mission to shape and implement solutions that transform clinician and patient experiences, effectively manage multi-disciplinary squad to meet desired OKRs and business outcomes. The Group Product Manager role is a critical role for ensuring an area of focus successfully delivers value to the business.

Responsibilities
  • Accountable for overall strategy, execution/delivery, and support of digital products within specific portfolio area; potentially inclusive of both experience and platform products. This requires a strong understanding of user needs paired with business and technical acumen.
  • Acts as mini-CEO and ambassador for the group of products internally and externally. Develops and owns the overall group product roadmap for the specific portfolio. Solves product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
  • Leads teams in utilizing product leadership best practices including hypothesis driven prioritization and uses data for key decision making.
  • Partners with design leadership team to ensure appropriate areas are focused on - ensuring products are how usable, feasible, and valuable.
  • Works closely with key stakeholders in the organization to understand business requests/needs; managing expectations, and ensuring strategic alignment of portfolio enabling valuable outcomes.
  • Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
  • Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
