Cimarron is seeking Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineers to support a large aerospace and defense customer in Everett, WA. This position is supporting a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. This opportunity allows for a hybrid schedule (i.e. some days in the office, some days work from home)!

Key Duties:
- Develop requirement management processes and tools.
- Investigate actions necessary for requirements definition and flow-down improvement.
- Perform and document the design of Guidance, Navigation, and Control systems models and tools, and guide less experienced engineers in the performance of the designs.
- Develop certification criteria and methods with regulatory agencies.
- Lead, organize, and resolve cross-divisional problems to provide technical assistance to internal/external customers.
- Assure cost, time-effective, and creative solutions.
- Disposition issues to assure customer satisfaction.
- Perform a wide variety of complex trades studies to meet program requirements.
Required Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Due to facility requirements, only U.S. Citizens or permanent citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
- Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
- Experience in complex safety critical system design using object-based three-dimensional CAD tools, such as CATIA; dynamic system simulation tools, such as Easy5; and traditional engineering analytical methods.
- Experience in requirements development, design, analysis, and verification & validation of flight control systems.
- 3 or more years of related experience.
- Experience using requirement management tools such as IBM Rational DOORS.
- Experience with System Safety Analysis, including failure modes and effects analysis, fault tree analysis, common cause analysis, and single/multiple failure analysis.
- Experience with control system and component troubleshooting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.

- Experience with manufacturing regulated and certified, safety-critical components and software.

- Prior experience with Boeing.
