Our client, an award winning Gastopub in South Dublin with an excellent reputation for food, are currently recruiting for a talented Head Chef to build on this success. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a similar establishment, feel passionately about cooking and enjoy working with a small brigade of chefs, preparing fresh, seasonal menus, using local produce where possible.

As Head Chef you will have full responsibility for the day to day running of the kitchen, designing innovative menus, sourcing suppliers to find the best produce, and training, motivating, and nurturing your team.

Other duties will include managing all paperwork, stock control, ordering, and ensuring all health, hygiene and safety procedures are in place.

Duties include;

· Managing the day to day running of the kitchen ensuring all company systems, procedures and standards are adhered to.

· Being passionate about delivering quality and consistency.

· Using your ability to recruit for the kitchen in a cost-effective manner.

· Utilizing your experience in menu design and food and recipe costings

· Managing HACCP and maintaining strict stock control.

· Managing deliveries, check in appropriately and store correctly.

Required;

· Recent Head chef experience

· Team management experience

· Solid work history with good recommendations from previous employers
