Dates: June 3rd - August 12th, 2023.

Reports to: Camp Director and Activities Director.

Salary: $600 - $900 per 6-day work week (Room & Board included)

Must be vaccinated against Covid-19

As our Head of Horseback Riding, you will be expected to oversee, lead, and supervise all staff within this activity. You will manage staff, instruct, and engage campers in Horseback Riding based on varying ages and abilities. In this role, you will bring your expertise and experience in Horseback Riding to help campers grow and develop their skills.

What we need from you

• Develop and deliver engaging Horseback Riding programming appropriate for the age and ability for each session.
• Supervise and support campers to ensure safety, development, growth, and general well-being.
• Assist in the management and care of the facilities and equipment in the horseback riding program area.
• Communicate and collaborate with other camp staff members to facilitate positive camper experiences.
• Ensure campers and staff follow all safety measures inside of the courts.

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us

• Proven experience in teaching Horseback Riding..
• Past experience in managing, leading, and supporting other instructors..
• Desire to work and inspire children in a camp environment.
• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced camp environment.
• High level of responsibility and accountability.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Physical ability to lead activities for 6 to 8 hours per day.
• Displays an energetic and positive personality.
