Your Role:

The Head of Supply Robustness is a newly established position that reports to the Life Science Services Head of Operations and is an integral part of the LSS Operations leadership team. The incumbent is responsible for translating business strategies and commercial opportunities into robust supply chain models, creating LSS wide capacity and resource planning processes, breaking down a S&OP process to PUs and sites and optimizing inventory management to ensure reliable operations and optimize cost structure.

You will hold a critical role in the realization of our Life Science Services ambition to become the market leading CTDMO player in the industry. In Life Science Services matrix environment, collaboration is vital to the overall business success. Additional Responsibilities include:


  • Collaborate with LSS LT to translate commercial opportunities into robust operations.
  • Collaborate with the LSS sites and PUs to create buy-in and accelerate implementation of harmonized processes
  • Collaborate with quality to drive compliance and inspection readiness
  • Collaborate with corporate supply chain leaders on key corporate initiatives
  • Collaborate with ISCO to utilize synergies and align on best practices
  • Build and establish a global E2E supply chain model for LSS to ensure reliable operations and supply and support scalable growth.
  • Define and establish the Supply Chain framework, define robust processes and drive harmonization and integration across the LSS organization.
  • Develop and implement the LSS Supply Chain roadmap in collaboration with the Planning Units.
  • Develop a supply chain governance structure and KPIs to track performance across LSS.
  • Develop and implement LSS wide capacity, resource and production planning structures and processes.
  • Develop and implement a S&OP process across all PUs and sites.
  • Optimize and harmonize inventory and warehouse management across all LSS sites.
  • Implement optimized procurement processes in collaboration with the Procurement group function.
  • Collaborate closely with internal Supply chain networks to use best practices already established in ISCO and Healthcare.
Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, CDMO Project Management or related/equivalent field.
  • At least 10 years of experience within Supply Chain or Operation; Project Management or business transformation experience would be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree preferred
  • A knowledge of the Contract Testing, Development & Manufacturing Services business would also be desirable
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Strong cross-functional communication abilities across both Operations and Business communities, as well as customers.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, drive to succeed, motivator of people.
  • Ability to influence without authority across the matrix in LSS, Quality, Commercial and Business to deliver maximize service and robust solutions.
  • Support the evolution of the planning system and tools from rudimentary MS excel into dynamic and agile, state-of-the-art planning tools.
  • Lead change management and adoption of new tools and processes through disciplined adherence to standardized approaches.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize recommendations based on large data sets.
  • Strong business acumen, proven skills in structured problem solving and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Strong customer (internal and external) and supplier facing presentation abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
Location : Preference in either Burlington, MA or St. Louis, MO, however this position is also flexible to be fully remote.
