• 
  Independent review and challenge of the management of people and physical infrastructure risk in the Group including risks in relation to capacity and capability (including retention and remuneration), culture and engagement, industrial relations, and health & safety.

• Effectively represent the independent Group Risk view of people and physical infrastructure risk at management risk committees, programme steering meetings, Group governance committees etc. to ensure the that risks are being considered and proposed mitigating controls are challenged.

Articulate people and physical infrastructure operational risk perspectives in clear and accessible language both written and verbal to ensure the risks are understood by the different stakeholders. Prepare Group Risk insight papers on the people and physical infrastructure operational risk, and review and challenge People Services and business management operational risk papers to committees, to ensure awareness and understanding of people and physical infrastructure risks.

• Maintain and monitor implementation of a clear and comprehensive people & infrastructure Operational Risk framework, policy and standards to ensure people managers and facilities/health & safety managers have clear parameters and guidance within which they must operate.

• Compile, interpret and provide briefing notes on people and physical infrastructure operational risk reporting metrics monthly and quarterly to highlight and provide independent insight into the issues that are arising.
