As a Director of Project Management – Imaging Operations, you will provide overall operations strategy, support, training and leadership to our HealthCare Project Management (HPM) organization. You are responsible for driving the HealthCare Project Management purpose and enable our ambition through strong partnerships across HPM leadership, Centers of Excellence, resource teams, and our supporting functions. You will utilize lean methodology to improve process, quality, and compliance throughout all project value streams. You will drive attainment of financial targets, work closely with regional teams, and serve the members of our field teams in their pursuit of exceeding customer expectations. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Align closely to the HPM Imaging GM to enable and drive project management excellence across HPM with a specific focus on key performance indicators of safety, people, quality, and cost.
- Mobilize organizational support, manage cross-functional resources and communicate to key stakeholders for all HPM critical initiatives, activities and project milestones; Willing to pivot activities and priorities based on evolving and fluid business needs.
- Monthly Operating Review (MOR); Prep and report weekly HPM performance to KPIs and other key metrics; Provide guidance and support for performance analysis; Guide IT teams on dashboard needs and maintenance; Deliver regular milestone reports, determine action plan(s), develop PSR(s) to attain TTI; Update dashboards, prepare .ppt presentations, support executive reviews as requested.
- Develop standard work and simplify HPM processes utilizing lean methodology; Track and report lean initiatives and outcomes; Oversee HPMs ‘lean roadmap’ to include planning and execution of lean activities, lead/facilitate kaizens/value streams/workouts; Draft and lead PSRs; Participate in Hoshin Kanri core teamwork; Gap closure analysis and action plans; Prepare executive summaries, outcome reporting and overall HPM lean communications.
- Work closely with business leadership and finance team to attain national and regional OP targets; Lead, train and support regional DPMs on revenue forecast; Drive forecast accuracy; Collaborate with region Presidents and Market VPs to deliver revenue.
- Research, recommend and track cash actions; Drive favorable cash performance.
- Support VCP projects & VCP financial analysis as required. Collaborate with ISC and Service leaders to attain USCAN HPM VCP targets; Track VCP targets and report performance. Collaborate with engineering on design for install projects; Collaborate with finance.
- Ensure field safety as the #1 KPI. Drive continuous improvement of process, practices and guidelines to enable compliant and quality installs; Be a change agent for HPM; Attend daily logistics and delivery calls; Triage EHS incidents, provide technical direction, draft policy or process change, train and implement sustainable safety measures; Issue safety recognition and promote safety awareness/adoption; Capture, trend, report and action EHS statistics.
- Lead performance dashboard, metrics, KPI adoption, priority setting, field priority training, and other measurements to drive continuous improvement. Report excessive PM defects to DPMs for performance management action. Develop and implement HPM training activities as countermeasures.
- Improve customer satisfaction. Track defect survey results to ensure timely resolution; Perform defect analysis and determine/implement preventative action(s). Validate policy adoption and sent/received percentages for optimal customer feedback. Provide customer feedback and drive preventative actions across partner functions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations or Business with minimum 5 years of related work experience in one or more of the following: business operations, project management. Or Associate’s degree in Operations or Business with minimum 10 years of related work experience in one or more of the following: business operations or project management.
- Demonstrate experience with exceptional customer facing skills to deepen and expand existing customer relationships and to develop HPM skills and abilities into project management differentiators for our customers.
- Demonstrate strong financial analysis, data analytic, interpretation and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate experience with designing and deploying broad organizational changes.
- Demonstrate experience with developing and managing key business software programs, including website/repository implementation and content editing.
- Demonstrate experience with developing and implementing LEAN AWO (Action Work Out), including value stream mapping, PSR and 5 Why’s root cause analysis/countermeasures.
- Periodic travel may be required, not to exceed 10%.
Desired Characteristics:
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- MBA or Masters
- Lean Training, demonstrate experience with developing and implementing LEAN AWO (Action Work Out), including value stream mapping, PSR and 5 Why’s root cause analysis/countermeasures.
