A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE HEAD OF SALES

As the Head of Sales, you encourage company growth by promoting our gourmet goods to thirdparty retailers and current retail partners, encouraging them to stock and sell our products. You will work with our partners to develop and implement a strong business model to help increase sales. Using your top-notch communication skills, you conduct meetings and develop positive relationships with various departments to increase brand recognition and support.


You implement successful sales tactics and solutions to help strengthen weaker areas. In cooperation with retail management and the DFS Gourmet support team, you develop brand activation models as well as create fun and engaging methods to spread our products to a wider audience. To support our company's financial department, you provide input on matters such as budgeting and invoicing. You feel accomplished when you smash sales goals and bring new business to our company!


QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE HEAD OF SALES

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in sales, marketing, product development, or a related field
  • Experience with large box retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and retail industries
  • Knowledge about retail operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Bilingual abilities in Spanish or French Canadian would be a plus but are not required. Are you capable of forming positive, working relationships with other organizations? Do you have exceptional sales and communication abilities? Are you self-motivated to meet and exceed quotas? Can you successfully prioritize multiple tasks at a time?
