Head of Student Life, Student Experience Office
Permanent Whole Time Post
UCC is seeking to appoint a Head of Student Life in the Student Experience Office. Situated within the functional area of the Deputy President & Registrar, the Student Experience Office provides a range of services which support and enable student success. The Student Experience Office comprises five thematic areas: Health & Wellbeing; Career Services; Access; Sport & Physical Activity and Student Life.
Student participation and the student voice are at the centre of all activities in University College Cork and Student Life is an important thematic area within the Student Experience Office which provides opportunities and services promoting and facilitating student engagement, student leadership and the development of transferrable skills.
Reporting to the Director of Student Experience this is an important role that engages with senior managers in the strategic oversight of fit-for-purpose strategy and procedures to ensure the optimal experience is provided for all students of the University.
The advertised role also includes an element of support for the Director of Student Experience and will occasionally deputise for the Director of Student Experience both internally and externally as required and will assist in initiatives and projects that contribute to the development of the longer-term vision and strategy for enhancing the Student Experience.

Appointment may be made on the Admin I (Grade 7) Salary Scale: €75,886 - €99,966 (Scale B) / €73,275 - €94,966 (Scale A)
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy
