Care Worker or Support Worker experience is not essential, we are looking for kind, caring and compassionate care assistants to join our growing team. We provide full training and encourage candidates with different experience to apply, for example retail or hospitality.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A CARE ASSISTANT:

• Provide care to clients ensuring their independence is promoted and that clients dignity is maintained at all times. This will involve following your clients care plan - assistance with personal care and mobility, light house work, companionship, picking up prescriptions.
• Excellent observational skills are very important.
• Reliability and commitment to your clients.
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with your clients and their families.
• Adhering to confidentiality policy at all times.
• Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the agency's quality assurance programme.
• Ensure that you follow Right at Home policies and procedures on a continuous basis to ensure full compliance.

REQUIREMENTS OF A CARE ASSISTANT

• Experience as a care assistant/private care worker/special needs assistance is not essential but can be advantage
• QQI Healthcare Award or a equivalent would be an advantage

Full time and flexible hours available to work around your commitments.
