Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Seeking a qualified individual to repair and maintain drill equipment, hoe-rams, tractor-trailers, and light duty vehicles. Mechanic will perform repairs and services both in a garage environment and at various job sites. Responsibilities:

Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Seeking a qualified individual to repair and maintain drill equipment, hoe-rams, tractor-trailers, and light duty vehicles. Mechanic will perform repairs and services both in a garage environment and at various job sites.
- Replace and repair broken equipment
- Perform PM on equipment
- Trouble shoot mechanical equipment and systems such as motors, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
- Follow all Company safety policies and procedures
- Perform field services and repairs on various equipment
- Coordinate with Equipment Manager on needed parts & supplies necessary to repair and rebuild items
- Use and operate all hand and power tools in a safe and effective manner
- View safety as paramount and pro-actively identify safety hazards
- Complete accurate required maintenance documents and records
- Participate in Equipment Manager meetings as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma
- Two Year Technical Degree or ASE Type Certification desired
- Three or more years experience working as a service technician desired
- Must have own hand tools up to 1 5/8
- Must be a self starter and have the ability to work with limited supervision
- Must have good driving record
- Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Card
- Ability to pass background investigation includitn ATF
- Desired Core skills include: Mechanical, hydraulics and pneumatics, diesel motors, welding, electrical systems, and PLC skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position
- Ability to lift 50 - 100 lbs., 30 - 40% of the time
- Work on uneven and loose surfaces in varying weather environments
- Stooping and bending 30 - 40% of the time
