Summary/Objective

The Equipment Operator is responsible for safe equipment operations and distribution of products for underground and surface mining.

• Responsible for safe equipment operations.
• Perform required safety exams and pre-shift inspections.
• Ability to learn and operate equipment ensuring safe equipment operation.
• Have a strong work ethic and dependable.

• Ensures compliance with Federal, State and Company safety and personnel policies and procedures.
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position does not have direct reports.

Work Environment

This job operates 100% of the time in an underground or surface mine setting. This role frequently operates heavy equipment.

This is a full-time position. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
