Hish School Graduation Pathways Coordinator
The Graduation Pathways Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing career technical education programs/services for Phalen Leadership Academies. The Coordinator will provide leadership in developing partnerships and maintaining compliance for High School programs ensuring the curriculum meets state-approved Career Technology Education (CTE) standards.
Essential Job Tasks:
- Responsible for the planning and coordinating the delivery of career technical education for PLA
- Provides leadership to administration and CTE assistants to ensure the curriculum meets CTE standards
- Responsible for PLA CTE programming and making suggestions on financial implications
- Provides leadership to CTE Assistants/ Building Leadership to develop new programs and complete state-required annual reviews
- Coordinates the preparation, documentation, and delivery of all grants, forms, and reports as required by the Indiana Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Education
- Designs and implements in-service training programs for CTE teachers and administrators regarding compliance.
- Designs and implements dual credit agreements with postsecondary schools for CTE programs.
- Responsible for the coordination of work-based learning for CTE students
- Participates in the board of education meetings and serves in special assignments as requested by supervisors
- Collaborates with Development Team and school-level high-ability coordinators for High Ability grant and programming
- Oversight of High Ability, Dual Credit, and CTE implementation and fidelity of programming
- Responsible for PLA network being at 100% Compliance on all CTE and Dual Credit programming, services, and reimbursement reporting by July 2023
- Supervision CTE Assistants having the capacity to carry out their KPIs with fidelity within 1 full year after hire
- Maximize CTE pathways to support a school-quality grade of A
- Other duties as assigned
LOCATION: The candidate must live within the state of Michigan
DO YOU HAVE:
- Master’s degree
- Valid Indiana teachers license as required by the State of Indiana
- Must have at least one year of experience developing and implementing a CTE program
- Three – five years of experience in public school administration and supervision and/or teaching
- Must be able to pass employment verification
- Punctuality and good attendance are requirements for the position
