Job description

Christ the King High School is seeking a full time science teacher. Courses include Biology and Earth Science or any science related disciplines for September 2023.

The candidate for this position:

- Must have an earned a Bachelor’s degree in a science discipline or a closely related field - minimum.

- Must have New York State teaching certification in Secondary Education or enrollment in certification program.

- Must be familiar with NYS science curriculum, lab requirements and the NYS Regents standards in the science disciplines.

- Must be cognizant of current educational best practices and educational technology including, SMART, iOS, internet, and willing to include these technologies into planning and teaching

- Any candidates for this position must be willing to support and uphold the authentic teachings of the Catholic Faith in their respective discipline.

Candidates who are willing to coordinate extracurricular activities are preferred.

Salary based on Education level and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
