MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· Valid Ohio Teaching License in Art (Visual) K-12

· Verification of Highly Qualified Status

· Possess much patience for and enjoyment of children

· Ambitious, high – energy person

· Ability to maintain professional conduct, appearance and manner

· Organized individual with ability to use initiative and creativity in stimulating student learning

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to encourage active participation of students and to maintain an effective learning environment

· Familiar with and capable of utilizing computer applications to enhance instruction

· Excellent classroom management techniques

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience as an Art Teacher

· Experience in working with special needs students
