Job description

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for the maintenance of the hotel’s building and grounds and the operation of its equipment and all mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. They will work closely with all departments to ensure all elements of the hotel, for both guests and team members, are in good condition and working order. They will regularly complete preventative maintenance in all areas of the hotel, and respond efficiently to work orders and time sensitive guest requests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend all daily, weekly and/or monthly department/hotel meetings to ensure proper communication/planning occurs.
• Ensure property grounds are properly maintained and displayed for our guests and the general public.
• Complete guestroom, heavy equipment and public area preventive maintenance.
• Conduct regular walk throughs and visually assess the safety and efficient maintenance and operation of the hotel structure, systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing or mechanical challenges. Communicate progress and completion to the appropriate individuals, especially when dealing with time sensitive guest work orders.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Communicate and collaborate effectively with all departments, assisting in other areas when needed

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
