The Area Manager should be an experienced home health sales professional who can effectively direct the planning and implementation of the sales process by identifying and penetrating market opportunities to achieve revenue and admission goals.
Responsibilities Include
- Directs all daily marketing operations including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of marketing/sales initiatives.
- Builds and monitors community, customer, payer and patient perceptions of Pacific Point Home Health & Palliative Care as a high quality provider of services.
- Recruit, interview, hire, and train Marketers for the Home Health team.
- Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.
- Communicate with each Marketer on a weekly basis to discuss sales strategies with their accounts.
- Ensure Marketers are appropriately identifying and calling on approved accounts to maximize goal attainment opportunity.
- Develop Marketers to perform at their highest potential in order to achieve performance goals.
Qualifications
- Three years experience in health care management, home health preferred.
- At least one year experience in health care sales required.
- Thorough understanding of the Federal, State and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing the operations of home health agencies, especially as it relates to beneficiary qualifications.
- Solid history of meeting sales goals, motivation for sales, territory management, strong presentation skills, performance management, building relationships, emphasizing excellence, negotiation, results driven, sales planning, manage profitability
