We seek an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing or one willing to train to oversee all nursing operations within our home healthcare agency. The successful candidate will manage the nursing staff, ensure the quality of care provided to our clients, and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements.

The Assistant Director of Nursing will also be expected to use HHAexchange properly to manage nursing workflow processes efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Ensure that regulatory requirements and agency policies and procedures provide all nursing services.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement client nursing care plans.
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursing care provided to clients.
• Ensure that all nursing documentation is accurate, complete, and current in

HHAexchange.

• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that promote quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Ensure that all nursing staff are adequately trained and equipped to provide high-quality care to clients.
• Stay up to date on changes in nursing regulations and best practices.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to identify and resolve issues related to nursing operations.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• 5+ years of experience in nursing leadership, preferably in home healthcare.
• Knowledge of nursing regulations and best practices.
• Experience with HHAexchange and other healthcare technology platforms.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Physical Demands:

The Assistant Director of Nursing position requires sitting for long periods, using a computer and telephone for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 10 pounds.

Working Conditions:

The Assistant Director of Nursing position requires work in a typical office environment with occasional travel to other offices or offsite locations as needed.

Salary:

The salary for this position will be based on experience and qualifications.
