Seeking an experienced Clinical Director, RN for a hospice in the Sacramento area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a unique hospice organization that offers enhanced hospice services. This successful company utilizes several unique alternative therapies and is a premier provider of end-of-life care with offices throughout CA.

Must be a Registered Nurse

Ideal candidate is clinically strong in hospice care, an effective team leader, and possess a solid knowledge of federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordinates and oversees all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical/organization personnel.
Hires, evaluates, and terminates organization personnel.
Develops, implements and evaluates the orientation program for new organization personnel.
Conduct annual evaluations on clinicians, or more frequently if indicated.
Overseas the maintenance of patent clinical records, statistics, reports and records for purpose of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws.

Required Skills:

Registered Nurse with a current licensee in the state of California
3+ years of management experience, with at least five years of experience in home health or hospice.
Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited university.
Ability to market and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
Current AHA CPR certification.
Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured and in good working condition.
Knowledge of business management, governmental regulations and Joint Commission Standards.
