HOSPITAL LIAISON, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Generations Healthcare Network, Byron/Rockford, IL area.
Generations Healthcare Network seeks a Full-Time Hospital Liaison for Business Development for Generation at Neighbors Skilled Nursing Facility in Byron, IL.
We Offer a Negotiable Salary of Between $70k and $75k, Depending on Experience, Plus a Full Benefit Package including a variety of voluntary health insurance plans; life insurance, disability, HSA, 401k with match, mileage reimbursement, and more!

Responsibilities of the Hospital Liaison Business Development Manager:
- Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, social workers and physicians in a specified hospital territory to generate qualified referrals
- Recommend referrals that lead to successful admissions to the facility
- Review and assess potential patients for admission to facilities
- Meet with families and patients at facilities to assist with admission
- Assist facility with promotional events including open houses, health fairs, etc.
of the Hospital Liaison Business Development Manager:
- Experienced healthcare marketer with established track record in sales and relationship building required
- Knowledge of area hospitals and other local healthcare organizations
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse or other clinician with marketing experience a plus
- Discharge planner, Case Manager, Skilled Nursing Admissions Director will definitely be considered
- Experience with physician and hospital staff relationship development
- Sales and marketing experience with regard to generating referral sources
- Established relationships with local social workers and discharge planners preferred
- Excellent presentation and relationship building skills
- Good understanding of private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid benefits as they pertain to skilled nursing
- Open to occasionally being on-call evenings and weekends to ensure patient placement is facilitated
