Hospital Porter/ Driver required for Hospitals and nursing homes in Dublin

The candidate will deliver professional standards of service, working together with your colleagues as part of the hospital team and to provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring and compassion are at the centre of everything we do.

A Full D licence is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• General attendant Service
• Transferring patients between various areas of the hospital.
• Ensuring the safe movement of medical equipment.
• Transporting clinical waste and dangerous materials.
• Distributing post to wards.
• Delivering patient notes.
• Domestic Service
• Laundry service
• Telephony/Reception
• Cleaning of the hospital
• Waste management within the hospital
• Linen provision to the departments
• Bleeps System
• Nurse Call system

Candidate Requirements

Enthusiastic, hardworking and has the ability to work off your own initiative. Works well under pressure as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Training, Garda Vetting and Uniform will be arranged for you.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: €13.98-€14.42 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
