We are currently seeking a full time Advanced Practice Provider to join our South Austin hospitalist team.

Advanced Practice Providers support physicians in providing direct patient care. Individuals in this role are responsible for performing complex medical evaluations, developing plans of care, coordinating care with hospital staff, educating patients and properly documenting in patient electronic health records. As a member of the interdisciplinary care team, Advanced Practice Providers work collaboratively to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.

The person in this role will work with hospital and clinic-based physicians to cover South Austin Medical Center. This is a full-time role working roughly 40 hours/week. The hospitalist team provides coverage 5 days/week.

Qualified candidates must be licensed to practice in the state of Texas as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN). Candidates can not have a FNP certification only. We prefer candidates that have at least one year of clinical experience and previous use of EHR software. Previous experience in gastroenterology or internal medicine is also preferred.
