We are looking for outgoing, friendly Host/Hostes to join our team at an upscale, casual restaurant. Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment, while at the same time also possessing the independence to handle a large amount of seating and table management responsibilities. Hosts and Hostes should have excellent people skills and a desire to join a fun, fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and seat guests.
• Create a comfortable and professional atmosphere for guests.
• Answer questions about the menu, daily specials, and drinks.
• Provide prompt and attentive service to guests in a friendly manner.
• Be a brand ambassador for the restaurant.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Maintain knowledge of restaurant menu and daily specials.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Physical setting:

• Bar
• Upscale casual restaurant

• Day shift
• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ketchikan, AK: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
