We are looking for the movers and shakers of the hospitality

industry who are passionate about people, food and helping our guests make

memorable experiences with us here, at The Comus Inn. In this position, you

will play an important role by performing a variety of customer service duties

necessary to cultivate the guest experience including, but not limited to,

greeting and serving customers and co-workers, providing education about our

products and other products we carry, stocking bar, serving drinks, and

maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of bar facilities. In addition, you

will need to be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and

efficient operation of the restaurant, beer hall and beer garden.

Primary Duties and Requirements:

• Welcome and greet all guests, making them comfortable and letting them know

you’re there to assist

• Assist guests with take out orders as necessary
• Provide spirited and informed hospitality while building strong guest

relationships

• Answer questions about our great food and beverages
• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order

dependent on the section in which you are working

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in restrooms; check for restock needs, trash

full etc.

• Possess the ability to multi-task and manage stressful circumstances associated

with a fast-paced work environment

• Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures
• Remove dirty dishes from the table as needed
• Ability to work both independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns
• Properly answer phones and answer questions
• Availability to work around peak hours, including mornings, weekends, and

holidays

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and move heavy items up to 50lbs
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer

service guidelines
