Job Summary
As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs.
• Seat guests and manage the seating chart.
• Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow.
• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
• Wipe down tables and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
• Transport all dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
• Ensure knowledge of menu.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Maintain fully stocked snack table during evening reception
• Clean/bus evening reception area, maintaining clean tables and floors
• Take to go orders

These are full and part-time, year-round positions working at the Coastal Grille in Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach. Open availability to work 1st or 2nd shift schedule is required, including weekends and holidays. Kingston is home to Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort, Embassy Suites Myrtle Beach, Kingston Plantation Condos, Royale Palms, and Plantation Laundry Services (located in Conway SC).
