Hilton Garden Inn Chandler Downtown is looking for a pro Line Cook to work in the Hotel restaurant, The Garden Grille. Also, Banquets is a major part of our business with potential grat share and additional hours.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Food Handlers Certification
• Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
• Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must work well in busy situations and at times work self-supervised.
• Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
• Hotel Banquet experience is helpful.
• Serving experience is helpful.
• Kitchen experience can be helpful.
• Spell as well Chef can or better

Job Duties & Functions

• Menu items and line prep, plating to spec and portion controls, display/buffet maintenance
• Cleaning throughout the shift to include work area, floors, BOH projects and general maintenance, dishes.
• Trash, boxes and cooking oil removal and disposal.
• Be able to work unsupervised, focused and organized, clean, able to multitask.
• Approach all encounters with guests and associates in a friendly, professional manner.
• Maintain regular and prompt attendance in compliance with standards and schedules.
• Maintain high levels of personal hygiene, appearance and grooming.
• Comply at all times with standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations.
• Comply with certification requirements as applicable to position.
• Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of sometimes changing menus, food descriptions and prep according to Chef and Hotel and Brand specs.
• Complete necessary food and station preparations prior to opening of the operation in order to ensure guests are served safely, promptly and efficiently during operating hours.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
