POSITION DESCRIPTION
BARTENDER
BASIC FUNCTION
Provide alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
a) Reports to: Front of House Supervisor
b) Supervises: N/A
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare drinks for customers.
- Prepare drink orders for servers.
- Balance sales to Micros report at end of shift.
- Observe customers for alcohol consumption.
- Set up bar area.
- Clean bar area.
- Cut fruits for drinks.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- No formal education required.
- 1 year bartending experience.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
- Able to mix and create alcoholic drinks.
- Able to communicate to customers and co-workers.
- Ability to determine when to cut-off patrons who consume too much alcohol.

- Standing for long periods of time
