The housekeeper will be responsible for the cleanliness of the facility.

SUMMARY:

The Housekeeper will be responsible for the cleanliness of the facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform housekeeping duties – mop, vacuum, clean bathrooms, breakroom, front area/offices and other areas as needed.

• Collect trash from offices (front and warehouse), restrooms and lobby.
• Dust and wipe furniture.
• Report safety or security deficiencies.
• Duties may include reassignment to alternate operational areas as business needs require.
• Essential duties are not necessarily exhaustive and may be supplemented or otherwise revised by DHL at its sole discretion

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• High School or equivalent training and/or at least 6 months related experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS AND/OR SKILLS:

• Ability to understand and carry out oral instructions
• Ability to follow procedures
• Interface with other departments across the facility on a regular basis
• Work with a minimum amount of supervision.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to walk throughout the office and facility.
• Stand, walk, squat, reach overhead, bend or kneel most of the work shift
• Frequently push/pull/lift and move trash cans/ bags/containers weighing up to 50 pounds.
• This is a warehouse environment where frequently this position will be exposed to cold, hot and changing temperatures; will constantly experience noise at medium level not damaging or loud enough to require protective equipment; will frequently be exposed to dust, dirt and changes in lighting.
