Job description

Starting rate is $11.00 per hour, after 30 days the rate goes to $12.00 per hour. We are looking for skilled housekeeper/room attendants to come on board. In this position, you will be responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds, and notifying maintenance of any issues. You should be able to lift 25 pounds and have an eye for cleanliness. You will report directly to our Executive housekeeper who will guide you through best practices and address any concerns in your department. This is the perfect position for anyone detail-oriented who enjoys working independently, takes pride in his or her work and has a flexible work schedule.

Key Requirements:

· Must have the ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and managers

· Must be dependable and hard working

· Flexible schedule

· Experience helpful but not necessary

Responsibilities:

· Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrival

· Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel

· Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms

· Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times

· Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary

· Report any damages or repairs needed to management

· Report all lost and found items to the Housekeeping Manager.
