Housekeeping and Laundry Aide responsibilities include:

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms, offices, breakrooms and dining area using cleaning chemicals and disinfectants
• Clean and sanitize floors, equipment and furniture according to infection-control policies
• Operate various types of cleaning equipment
• Handle and dispose of waste using standard procedures
• Monitor inventory of supplies such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper
• Maintain and work within established departmental, center, and corporate policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement program, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
• Label clothes and personal items of patients
• Washing, drying, folding and performing various laundry duties as needed

Qualification Requirements:

• High school graduate or G. E. D. equivalent

All candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen and Pa. Criminal Background in accordance with the Pa. Older Adult Protection Act.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
