Housekeeping Assistant
The post holder will join the team of operatives working in various areas of the campus providing early morning cleaning services to all university properties.
At the end of this competition, we will create a panel of suitably qualified individuals to fill Housekeeping Assistant vacancies. If a Housekeeping Assistant position becomes available within 6 months of the interview dates, the candidates who are deemed appointable from this competition will be offered the next available Housekeeping Assistant position.
Post status: Permanent, Specific Purpose, Fixed Term and Panel.
Hours of Post: Part-Time/Flexible up to 19 hours per week.
Core work hours: Between 5 am -9.30 am.
Hourly Rate: €14.17.

Salary: This appointment will be made
pro-rata on the Housekeeping Assistant Weekly Merged Salary Scale at a point in line with current Government pay policy. Please view the salary scale here. Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
Interview: Interviews for this position will take place the week of the 21st of November 2022
