Job Summary:

Maintain the internal cleanliness Rock Barn’s properties. Clean and prepare Rock Barn’s properties for guests. Ensure that the cleanliness of our facilities leave a positive and lasting impression.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs general, routine custodial duties, to include dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, and restocking paper and soap supplies.
• Empty trash receptacles, disposes trash into dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal
• Inspects products to ensure that specifications are met.
• Comply with all warehouse safety and health regulations.
• Clean bathrooms – toilet bowls, sinks, countertops and mirrors.
• Clean glass doors, mirrors, and windows as needed.
• Reports any damage and plumbing problems to maintenance, replaces burned out light bulbs
• Dusting blinds, baseboards, light fixtures, vents, bookcases, knickknacks, and picture frames.
• Clean ladies/men’s locker rooms regularly.
• Clean and shine all brass as needed.
• Clean and prepare rental properties for guests by cleaning and restocking various items.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion for long periods of time
• Experience using cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, and cleaning solutions.
• Background in handling, mixing, and using cleaning chemicals
• Knowledge of occupational hazard safety rules
• Oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, order documents and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write labels and read tickets.
• Ability to speak effectively to other employees and supervisor.

Education and Experience:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual does not need to have computer skills.
• 1-2 years of prior experience, in a manufacturing environment prefer.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
• Stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
• Is frequently required to climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to see color.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
