Responsibilities:
  • The Room attendant coordinator shall assist the director of housekeeping and housekeeping management staffin expediting the many administrative paperwork details related to the housekeeping departments.
  • Ensures the efficient flow of correspondence between housekeeping and other departments, as well as with guests.
    Ensures that purchase orders and accounts payable are completed on a timely basis.
  • Directly in charge of the daily operation of the main linen room, ensuring quality of service; standard of cleanliness and sanitation; and proper control accounting of revenue generating facilities.
  • Should convey a friendly, cheerful attitude with emphasis on gracious hospitality in dealing with Team members,as well as with guests.
  • Must be flexible with schedule changes, as business demands.
  • Contact the vendors by phone or mail to place orders.
  • Type purchase orders.
  • Type correspondence, forms and minutes. Photocopy appropriate forms and distribute to proper personnel.
  • Monitor HotSOS.
  • Be responsible for any additional clerical work delegated by the DOH or housekeeping management staff.
  • Administer Lost and Found Policy.
  • Perform any reasonable requests made by the hotel management.
  • Run and prepare Vacant Dirty Report.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of MS word and Excel.
  • Enthusiastic and motivated.
  • Detail oriented and accurate in work.
  • Candidate must be fully bilingual (Spanish/English)
