Mental Health Association, Inc. is hiring immediately for Housing Coordinators. MHA is seeking housing Coordinators for both our Housing Navigator and for Rapid Rehousing. The Housing Coordinator positions is an opportunity to help change the lives of young adults who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. These positions are Monday-Friday 9a-5pm with flexibility as needed.
The Housing Navigator is responsible for locating and providing assistance and support to youth and young adults 18-24 who are at risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness. This Navigation and Rapid Rehousing Program will offer youth and young adults access to financial support when possible to address immediate housing needs, and will connect youth and young adults to the larger service system, to ensure they are able to access safe, affordable, and sustainable housing in the community of their choice.
Working in our Rapid Rehousing Program, the Housing Coordinator for Rapid Rehousing will provide outreach, assessment and engagement to participants of the SOR Rapid Rehousing Program. Support participants in residential substance use treatment transition out of treatment into independent living. Provide ongoing case management support. Work with participant to assess their needs, find safe and affordable housing, manage their income, and strengthen community supports. Complete documentation in timely manner.
