The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP serves as a Human Resources strategic partner and liaison to ensure the success of the assigned business units and employees. This position directly reports to the Human Resource Manager.

Key Responsibilities(Assigned Bussiness Units):
- Conducts regular meetings with respective business units and establishes strategic partnerships with the relevant leadership teams.
- Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate and necessary.
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
- Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met.
- Works closely with the HR Team, other members of Management, and employees as a resource person for general personnel issues related to the interpretation and administration of Alpine Intel policies and procedures within the assigned business units.
Key Responsibilities(Enterprise Wide):
- Administers the company’s periodic performance evaluation process while always being innovative and progressive around these strategies.
- Administers and promotes the company’s various reward, recognition, and performance incentive programs.
- Will lead and execute special human resources-related projects on an as-needed basis.
- Assists members of human resources management with various strategic HR initiatives that directly impact the business.
- Assists in ensuring the organization is current and up to date on all legal and regulatory compliance updates pertaining to federal-state, and local labor law, safety, etc.
- Is familiar with and updates the company’s HRIS (Human Resources Information System) for relevant areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for creating and managing the budgets for any assigned areas of responsibility.
- Assists with the company’s on-boarding and off-boarding procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Assists in the formulation and administration of the company’s new and existing policies and procedures and helps to ensure compliance. This includes helping to update and maintain the employee handbook.
- Prepares periodic reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends in areas such as workforce planning, safety, risk mitigation, performance management, etc.
- Assists with proper records management to ensure compliance regarding role-relevant areas.
- Keeps current and in compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and advising employees and members of management on needed actions.
- Strategic and efficient vendor management to ensure the best ROI in relevant areas.
- This role is involved with the management and oversight of all active and incoming immigration cases including, but not limited to working with outside counsel and serving as the point of contact for all questions and concerns.
- Responsible for proper recordkeeping and documentation for all assigned areas in accordance with all applicable laws and internal policies.
- All other duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, and/or SHRM-SCP certifications are highly preferred.
- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience working as a Human Resources Generalist or Human Resources Business Partner in a corporate environment.
- Must have experience working with various areas of strategic performance management initiatives and strategies.
- Must have experience formulating human resource policies and procedures.
- Must have prior experience managing employee relations and retention.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
- Must be familiar with current employment laws including but not limited to FMLA, ADA, and AA/EEO.
- Must be very flexible and willing to perform general administrative duties in addition to the daily Human Resources responsibilities.
- Experience with visa processing-related work.
- Must be flexible in schedule, with the ability and willingness to respond and work on after-hours employee issues when needed.
- Must be coachable and open to learning new concepts and practices.
- Must have the ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to treat sensitive and confidential information with high levels of discretion.
- Must be able to thrive in a team-oriented work environment.
- Must be well organized with excellent overall computer and technology skills.
- Must be highly motivated with ability to express new ideas for process improvement.
- Must be customer focused and enjoy service-oriented type of work.
Physical Requirements:
- Works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
- Noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office.
- Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
- Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
